• I am a citizen of the United States and will remain a citizen of the United States through the State Pageant and, if I win the State Pageant, through the 2024 Miss USA or 2024 Miss Teen USA Pageant.

• I represent and warrant that I am a female (either by birth OR recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States). If my gender or sex designated at birth was not female, I represent and warrant that: (a) I have received and can provide (if requested by Miss Universe or the USA State Pageant) legal recognition of my assigned sex as female by the U.S. federal government or the state of my residence (which may include, if required in the state that I am competing in, certification that I have fully completed sex assignment (which can be certified by a physician, if requested by you or Miss Universe). Documents acceptable for such legal recognition include: driver’s license or ID card issued by my state of residence, birth certificate, U.S. Passport or Social Security card.

• I now reside and have resided in my in my State as my “permanent and primary residence” at least ninety (90) consecutive days immediately prior to the date of the 2024 State Pageant. "Permanent and primary residence" means my true, fixed and permanent domicile which I intend to make my permanent home. In order to establish my permanent and primary residence in the State, I must satisfy either (a), (b) or (c) regarding “residency” and documentation requirements: (a) I now reside and have resided in my State as my “permanent and primary residence” for a period of at least ninety (90) consecutive days immediately prior to the date of the State Pageant (although I may have attended school, college or university on a full-time basis elsewhere); (b) I reside in the State and attend school as a full-time student at a school, college or university in the State and will have completed one entire semester, trimester, or summer session immediately prior to the date of the state pageant, and I will continue to reside in the state or attend school as a full-time student at that same school, college or university (although I may have spent, or be spending, the summer in another state); or (c) retain full-time employment in the State (i.e., I work at least forty (40) hours per week in the state and I qualify for employment benefits provided by my employer (as evidenced by Form W-2 and pay stubs only)) and have maintained such full-time employment for a period of at least ninety (90) days prior to the date of the State Pageant.

• I may not compete in another 2024 Miss USA state pageant for a period of at least ninety (90) consecutive days after the date of the state pageant UNLESS I: (a) reside in the state as a full-time student at a school, college or university and will have competed one entire semester, trimester or summer session immediately prior to December 31, 2023 OR (b) retain full-time employment in the state (i.e. I work at least forty (40) hours per week in the state and I qualify for employment benefits provided by my employer).

NOTWITHSTANDING THE FOREGOING, JKN UNIVERSE LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ALTER ELIGIBILITY AND RESIDENCY TERMS AT ANY TIME. JKN UNIVERSE LLC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REVIEW AND EVALUATE THE RESIDENCY DOCUMENTATION SUBMITTED AND MAY DETERMINE IN THEIR SOLE DISCRETION WHETHER A CONTESTANT'S DOCUMENTATION COMPLIES WITH THE APPLICABLE RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS.
