Dr. Thompson is Chief Communications Officer at Pinterest, setting the communications vision and strategy as the platform, which currently reaches hundreds of millions of Pinners around the world, and continues to evolve and grow. She oversees all aspects of corporate, internal, international, consumer and product communications as well as public affairs and strategic planning.
Thompson was previously the Director of Global Communications and Media Relations for Walmart and the Director of External Affairs for Caesars Entertainment. She also returned home earlier in her career to serve as the first Director of Federal Relations for Jackson State University after working for several members of the United States House of Representatives. As an influential expert and leader, Thompson has received several awards and recognition across the industry for her work. In 2021, PR Week recognized her as one of the industry’s “In-House Elites” and one of the year’s “Women to Watch” honorees. She was also a featured speaker at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit and named as one of Essence’s 8 Black Women to Watch in Corporate America.
Thompson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Tougaloo College and earned a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University. She has studied Healthcare at the Hebrew University in Israel and has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Mississippi.
Kelly Hutchinson is a rising third-year law student at the George Washington University Law School. She is currently working in DC as a summer associate at one of the nation’s leading litigation firms. During law school, she has been selected to serve on the Mock Trial Board, the Moot Court Board, and is a member of the Federal Communications Law Journal. In the fall she will join the Rising for Justice Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic as a student attorney representing clients pro bono before the D.C. Superior Court to prevent evictions, preserve affordable housing, and secure tenants’ rights under federal and District law.
Kelly was raised in Atlanta, Georgia but moved to Alabama to attend Auburn University. While at Auburn, she served on the Auburn Panhellenic Cabinet and was a member of the Auburn University Tiger Paws Dance Team. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Summa Cum Laude, with a minor in marketing in the fall of 2019. Kelly Hutchinson was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2020 in October 2019. A year later she went on to compete for the title of Miss USA and was honored to be named Fourth-Runner up to Miss USA 2020.
She has been a longtime supporter of the American Cancer Society and used her reign to advocate for and support children with parents battling cancer.
David Perry officially began his career in the modeling industry in 2006 and has since become a frontrunner in the world of fashion. In 2013, David founded Diana Darby Model Management, which works in various modeling markets and represents top high fashion models, showroom models, commercial, print and runway models, television and film actors and actresses, and pageant titleholders.
David has personally worked with many accomplished professionals in the world of fashion and modeling that include photographers, fashion designers, casting directors, and event producers. Diana Darby Model Management has provided models for New York Fashion Week, Miami Swim Fashion Week, DC Fashion Week, Greek American Fashion Week, DMV Fashion Week, Verdict, Seematti, Crystal Couture, Fashion Awards MD, Thrive 2 Drive, Paul Wharton Style, Nikki Poulos, Little Black Dress Book Project, My Bougie Baby, Alpha Fashion Magazine, LUXE Magazine, Adrian Alicea and Christian Siriano.
For the past several years, David has conducted a development program that includes a portfolio builder workshop, and coaching for posing and runway modeling. David Perry also hosts “The David Perry Show,” a podcast that can be seen on YouTube. David is now writing about his experiences in the fashion and modeling industry and plans to publish his first novel soon.
Dr. Naini is a celebrity cosmetic dentist and the founder of Aesthetic Dental Spa in Tyson’s Corner. She’s been seen on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac and is a regular guest contributor on FOX5, ABC7, and other tv stations through the DMV. Capitol File Magazine named her the Best Cosmetic Dentist on the Luxe List and DC Magazine named her among the top medical professionals in the area. She has written for Dr. Oz, been featured in USA Today, Bon Appetit, New Beauty, and many other publications.
Her clientele include NFL players and coaches, Bravo’s Real Housewives, local and national tv personalities, and royalty. In her spare time, she is an advisory board member for “In a Perfect World” Foundation and has participated in dental mission trips to Nepal and the Phillipines. She is the founder of SMILESWAG, a lipstick brand that is designed to make your teeth look whiter and brighter.
Candiace is a singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, personality, and philanthropist. She is a graduate of Howard University and launched her career in Washington DC, working in the Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs during the Obama administration before joining his reelection campaign as a staffer.
Along the way, she competed in countless pageants, including Miss District of Columbia USA, and was crowned Miss United States 2013. She is the owner of Candiace Dillard Pageant Consulting, co-owner of Chateau Salon Suites, and co-founder of Prima Hair Collection by Candiace Dillard.
Allowing audiences into her world, Candiace notably joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2018 and consistently turns heads and inspires with everything she does. In 2021, she landed a deal with MNRK and unveiled her full-length debut Deep Space. Her single “Drive Back” clocked over 474,000 Spotify streams and 469,000 YouTube views.
At the same time, Candiace consistently captivates in front of the camera. She made her big screen debut with a role in the award-winning film Water in a Broken Glass. Other credits include a guest spot on NETFLIX’s Family Reunion and BET’s The Christmas Lottery. In 2022, she also starred in BET’s It Takes Two. Candiace manages to give back at every turn. She launched My Sister’s Keeper as an organization to empower and mentor young girls.
